Use the service lawfully
You may use the service for your organisation's internal research, operational planning and compliant B2B prospecting. You are responsible for your lawful basis, PECR position, suppression lists, message accuracy and opt-out handling.
Do not
- Send harassment, threats, deception, discriminatory messages or unlawful unsolicited marketing.
- Assume a public record gives permission to contact a sole trader or individual by electronic message.
- Publish, resell, sublicense, scrape, mirror or systematically redistribute the portal, exports or a substantial data compilation.
- Use the service to make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about a person.
- Upload special-category, criminal-offence, payment-card, bank-account or unnecessary personal data.
- Share credentials, bypass territory or entitlement controls, probe vulnerabilities, overload sources or introduce malicious code.
- Imply endorsement by CQC, DfT, Traffic Commissioners, Companies House, GoCardless or DIGIDENT.
Reasonable research
Verify the official source, contact the business through an appropriate professional channel, identify yourself and your organisation, explain the relevance, and honour objections or opt-outs promptly. Keep private notes factual, relevant and respectful.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected misuse, limit exports, suspend users, preserve evidence, notify the Customer administrator or terminate serious breaches. We may report apparently unlawful activity where required or reasonably necessary.
